Are you having trouble expressing what you need, or having difficulty finding the words to express what you’ve been through? I’ve been there. I have found therapeutic movement to be an essential tool for my own healing, and I’m thrilled to be able to offer it to others.
Therapeutic movement helps to bypass the need to talk and allows us to access healing in a different, profound way. Unlocking restrictions, tightness, and pain in the body allows us to unlock restrictions in our minds. It allows unspeakable trauma to be released and healed.
Therapeutic movement is very personal to me. My own trauma history gives me a deep understanding of the value of movement. A consistent practice of moving my body brought my mind, body, and soul back together in a way I didn’t know I needed.
Many times, if talk therapy stalls or plateaus, therapeutic dance or yoga provide powerful new insights and release. The body is brilliant and deserves as much attention and care as the rest of our systems during therapy. All of our sessions are individual. We cater every moment to you, and work to create an exceptionally safe space.
As your guide in this process of reconnection, my first goal is to get to know you and understand your unique needs. There is no one-size-fits-all plan to this process, so each practice will be designed completely and specifically for you.
I am a therapeutic dance instructor and a yoga instructor, and it thrills me to observe the beautiful power of healing. When one individual heals, it inspires others around them to heal; it allows them to be the parents they want to be, the partners they want to be, the person they want to be.
